Just thought I would share…
We took the kids shopping today for a few hours. We were in search for a buffet/hutch to help us organize our kitchen area. Someplace where we can put all our cookbooks/phone books/etc on some top shelfs, our phone and IPad on a counter top, and some appliances, and larger items below.
We stopped at the mall going into a few stores there, then drove to a few furniture stores, a department store, and a couple hardware stores. It was a lot of shopping…and I’m not much of a shopper, especially with kids. Well, I was continually amazed. We did not find anything we wanted, that would work, or was in our price range. The amazing part was the kids. They did great! It was one of the best experiences we have had with them. They listened to us, held our hands or stayed nearby us, didn’t get into mischief, and just did wonderful. This is quite the accomplishment for them (and us).
I was constantly thanking them and God for the way they were behaving. It is so nice to know that it is possible to take the 3 kids to the stores without it being complete chaos!
